Tom Brady Slaps Logan Paul at Fanatics Fest, Demands WWE Contract

Tom Brady aggressively confronting Logan Paul onstage at Fanatics Fest convention

Tom Brady and Logan Paul just escalated their ongoing feud from a war of words to a physical confrontation.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion shocked the crowd at Fanatics Fest 2026 on Friday when he slapped the WWE star during an onstage appearance. New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns immediately stepped in, restraining Paul before the situation could spiral out of control.

Taking the Trash Talk Online

The tension did not stay on the stage. Later that evening, the retired NFL quarterback hopped on social media to continue throwing jabs at Paul.

Brady openly mocked the social media personality, calling him a “dork” and a “nerd” in separate posts.

While the legitimacy of the slap remains a subject of heavy debate, the two have built a highly entertaining public rivalry. Paul hinted that Friday’s incident was the boiling point of frustrations stemming from their previous encounter earlier this year.

A Rivalry Born on the Gridiron

The friction between the two stars began in February when Paul boldly claimed his WWE experience made him just as athletic as a professional football player.

Brady quickly countered the narrative. “You might wear a helmet — that ball might get loose in my hand and if you’re not paying attention,” Brady joked during the draft for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.

The future Hall of Famer kept his word. During the March 21 event at BMO Stadium, Brady famously fired a pass directly at Paul, cementing their unexpected feud.

Brady Actively Campaigning for WWE Debut

The onstage slap was only half the story at Fanatics Fest. Brady also made a direct public pitch to enter the world of professional wrestling.

During a live recording of WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ podcast, What Do You Wanna Talk About?, Brady confirmed he is highly interested in stepping into a WWE ring.

“I need to get an invite,” Brady told Rhodes. “I’ve been waiting for Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix. I feel like I’m retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I’m a little bit of an athlete.”

If he transitions to sports entertainment, Brady will follow in the footsteps of other crossover athletes and musicians like Rob Gronkowski, Pat McAfee, Ronda Rousey, and Bad Bunny.

A Match on Hold

If Friday’s slap was the first act of a WWE storyline, fans will have to wait for the payoff.

Paul suffered a torn triceps on May 23 and is currently sidelined. He faces several more months of rehabilitation before he is cleared for in-ring action.

Whether the stage slap was genuine animosity or a carefully orchestrated WWE stunt, the confrontation did its job. Brady is keeping his name in the headlines, and the NFL legend is openly campaigning to trade the gridiron for the squared circle.
