Music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco is taking the slow route to London. To bypass a deep-seated fear of flying, he opted to cross the Atlantic Ocean by boat to visit his wife, Selena Gomez.

Documenting the Open Ocean
Blanco shared his unconventional travel plans directly with fans via a social media video. He filmed the update aboard a ship, surrounded entirely by the open ocean.
He cited his long-standing aviation anxiety as the sole reason for the maritime trek. Summing up the extensive journey, Blanco simply called it one of the “things we do for love.”
