A Cinematic Ceremony in Los Angeles
The 1975 frontman Matty Healy and model Gabbriette Bechtel are officially married. The couple celebrated their nuptials with a star-studded guest list at Castillo del Lago, Madonna’s former estate in Los Angeles.
Sources confirmed the newlyweds established an “old Hollywood glamour” dress code for the occasion. Given Gabbriette’s signature aesthetic, attendees leaned heavily into sleek, gothic all-black ensembles.
Charli XCX and George Daniel’s Dark Glamour
Among the first to arrive were Charli XCX and her husband, Healy’s bandmate George Daniel. The duo perfectly executed the moody dress code.
Charli wore a ruffled black wrap gown featuring a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit. She accessorized with Jimmy Choo Love slingbacks, a black clutch, and black Bulgari square-framed sunglasses.
Daniel kept his look traditional and sharp. He stepped out in a timeless monochromatic black suit, matching shirt, and tie.
Star-Studded Guest Style
Other high-profile attendees followed the same sartorial notes. Model Devon Lee Carlson, arriving with fiancé Duke Nicholson, wore a vintage gray and black cheetah-print Roberto Cavalli dress.
Her sister, Sydney Carlson, chose a beaded cream and black 1930s-style flapper dress. Model Alex Consani arrived in a black slip adorned with crystal flowers and butterflies.
Stassie Karanikolaou also embraced the dark theme. She wore a body-skimming black gown cinched at the waist with braided ropes.
The Bride and Groom
Standing out brilliantly against the gothic crowd, Gabbriette wore a voluminous white dress. The striking gown featured a sweetheart neckline, a sculpted bodice, and ruffled long sleeves.
Her full skirt flowed into an intricately embroidered train, complemented by an extra-long, dramatic diaphanous veil. Healy kept things classic in a black tuxedo, complete with a corsage pinned to his lapel.
A Season of Nuptials
The Los Angeles wedding coincides with Charli XCX and George Daniel’s own one-year anniversary. The couple originally wed in a London courthouse, where Charli wore a Vivienne Westwood Nova Cora mini and Jimmy Choo Amita heels.
For their second ceremony in Sicily, Charli shifted to a sheer, floaty organza dress by Danielle Frankel covered in baroque pearls. The pair also recently attended the Sicily wedding of Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, where Charli donned a layered sheer black JW Anderson dress.
