The first line of defense is your wardrobe. Swap synthetic materials for natural fibers like cotton, wool, or linen. The WWF advises prioritizing organic textiles, even when purchasing secondhand clothing.

- Upgrade cleaning tools: Vacuum with a HEPA filter and always empty the dustbin in a well-ventilated area. Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth to trap dust rather than dispersing it.
- Purify the air: Use HEPA air purifiers, which capture up to 99.97% of airborne particles. Ventilate your home frequently by opening windows, but be wary of air conditioning units that simply blow settled dust back around.
