Margaret Qualley is staying busy following the news of her split from musician Jack Antonoff.

The 31-year-old Emmy nominee was photographed on set in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Wednesday. This marks her first public sighting since her separation from the Bleachers frontman became public knowledge.
Qualley was in the middle of filming a high-energy scene for the upcoming movie “Possession.”

High-Stakes Stunts on Set
During the shoot, Qualley put on a frightened display as she sprinted around street corners and vaulted over restaurant booths near Hamilton Park.
She wore a practical all-black wardrobe for the frantic sequence, pairing a sweater and matching skirt with tights and ballet flats. Her hair was tightly pulled back into a long braid.

While the remake of the 1981 horror classic also stars Callum Turner, Paul Dano, and Diego Calva, Qualley performed this specific scene solo. This project follows her recent work on “King Snake,” which she wrapped filming in Arkansas in June.
Signs of the Split
Speculation regarding Qualley and Antonoff’s relationship began in early July.

The actress was noticeably absent when Antonoff’s close friend and collaborator, Taylor Swift, tied the knot in New York City on July 3. Though Qualley was technically between movie projects at the time, the 42-year-old musician attended the wedding alone.
Days later, Page Six confirmed that the pair had called it quits after three years of marriage. Despite the separation, Antonoff was subsequently seen walking around Brooklyn still wearing his wedding ring.

Communication Challenges
Neither Qualley nor Antonoff has officially addressed the split, but sources indicate the former couple is navigating the transition with “love and kindness.” Insiders have firmly shut down any rumors of infidelity.
“Sometimes, these things just don’t work, and it doesn’t need to be for any dramatic reason,” one source explained.
However, another insider highlighted underlying communication issues as a factor in the separation. “Jack could be very particular about how he liked things,” the source claimed. “He’d often prefer for things to be done the way he thought was best, and Margaret didn’t always feel like her perspective was being heard or given the same weight.”
The duo’s romance began in the summer of 2021. They became engaged in Paris the following year before exchanging vows in New Jersey in August 2023.
