Suri Noelle is officially stepping onto the stage. The 20-year-old daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has secured a role in “Midsummer!,” a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s classic “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Taking the Stage
The 90-minute production is driven by students from Carnegie Mellon University. The cast will perform at the Trust Arts Education Center’s Peirce Studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Shows are scheduled for July 31 and August 1 before the production heads overseas.
“Midsummer!” will make its UK debut at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, running from August 7 to August 31.

A Shift in Studies
Despite previous rumors that she was leaning toward a fashion degree, Suri is officially studying musical theater in Carnegie Mellon’s School of Drama. She recently completed her sophomore year.
This upcoming Shakespearean run follows a recent local performance. In March, she played a character named Angel in “Cosmic Microwave Background.”
The one-night-only staged reading took place at Pittsburgh’s New Hazlett Theater as part of its CSA: Off the Page series.

A Famous Lineage
Suri adopted her mother’s middle name, Noelle, professionally after graduating from New York City’s LaGuardia High School in June 2024.
She remains estranged from her father, Tom Cruise. The 64-year-old “Top Gun” actor and 47-year-old “Dawson’s Creek” star Katie Holmes welcomed Suri in April 2006 and married seven months later.

Following their August 2012 divorce, Holmes raised her daughter in New York. Holmes recently noted that she and Suri “kind of grew up together.”
Tom, a practicing Scientologist, also has two older children. He shares daughter Isabella “Bella” Cruise, 33, and son Connor Cruise, 31, with his second wife, Nicole Kidman.
Before marrying Kidman, Tom was wed to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990. Rogers is frequently cited as the person who introduced him to the Church of Scientology.
