Tom Holland is officially using the “W” word.
Nearly five months after confirming their marriage, the 30-year-old actor publicly referred to Zendaya as his wife for the first time.

A Hypothetical Trip to Greece
The milestone moment happened during a preview for the July 22 episode of The Dish podcast.
When asked who he would take on a vacation to Greece, Holland did not hesitate to name his 29-year-old partner.
“I think probably my wife would be pretty good,” Holland said.
He then joked about bypassing his spouse in favor of their 55-year-old costar, Matt Damon.
“It would be a bit strange if I went, ‘Sorry babe, I’m gonna take Matt actually.’”
Blending Fiction and Reality
The couple has been tight-lipped about their actual wedding, but Holland is using the press tour for Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming film, The Odyssey, to drop subtle nods to their relationship.
During a July 16 interview with Wired alongside Damon, Anne Hathaway, and Robert Pattinson, Holland addressed fan theories about the movie’s plot.
Asked if Zendaya’s character, Athena, harbored romantic feelings for Odysseus, Holland quickly shut it down.
“Did Athena love Odysseus romantically?” Holland mused. “No, because she’s married to me.”
Damon joined the banter moments later. When asked what Holland’s character, Telemachus, learned from Athena, Damon simply replied, “True love.”
An Early Look at the Script

Speaking at the New York premiere of The Odyssey, Zendaya revealed that their living situation gave her an early advantage in landing a role in the Nolan film.
“Tom had the script at home before I got the call,” she explained. “So, I did a little peeky peek.”
Strict Wedding Boundaries
Despite the recent playful comments, the Spider-Man stars refuse to share intimate details about their actual ceremony.
In an Esquire interview last month, Holland confirmed that only close family and loved ones attended the wedding.
He swiftly shut down further inquiries, stating firmly, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
Zendaya echoed this sentiment during an April appearance on the New York Times’ Modern Love podcast.
While acknowledging their massive public profile, she stressed the importance of preserving their joy behind closed doors.
“I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well,” Zendaya said.
“That’s my broad way of just saying I hear it, but also [setting] my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and share.”
