Locating the Drain Filter
Most machine owners never open the small access panel on their appliance. On front-loading models, look for a small square or circular hatch near the floor, typically positioned at the bottom left or right corner.

For top-loading units, the filter may sit at the base of the machine or reside inside the drum within a dedicated casing. Manufacturers recommend clearing this trap every three to four months, depending on household usage.
Step-by-Step Maintenance
