Jennifer Lopez closed the multi-day Alta Moda celebration in Sicily with an exclusive performance.
An Exclusive Couture Concert
Jennifer Lopez delivered an unexpected finale at Dolce & Gabbana’s highly exclusive Alta Moda presentation.
The multiplatinum pop star and actress treated guests to a private concert, capping off the Italian fashion house’s showcase of women’s haute couture. The grand finale took place on Thursday, July 16, on the picturesque Sicilian island of Isola Bella.
Lopez ran through her iconic catalog, performing chart-topping hits like “Waiting for Tonight,” “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” and “Let’s Get Loud.”
She also surprised the elite crowd with a special Italian rendition of “Il cielo in una stanza.” The performance served as a personal tribute to the brand’s legendary designers, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
Four Custom Alta Moda Looks
The Grammy-nominated artist relied on styling duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn to curate a wardrobe that matched the opulent setting.
Her first look featured a sunshine yellow silk chiffon gown built with a deep plunge neckline and dramatic high slits. The bodice highlighted a jeweled floral bra paired with a gemstone-embellished cape.
The ensemble ultimately revealed a white lace bodysuit, a cropped alpaca wool and silk faux fur bolero, and crystal-adorned white satin over-the-knee boots.
Next, Lopez emerged in an oxblood red bodysuit featuring a keyhole halter neckline, lace ruffles, and a layered veil skirt. Accessories included a gold brooch and a black lace veil.
A detachable overskirt gave way to a matching lace mini dress and sheer thigh-high stockings detailed with garters.
Closing the Show in Black Lace
For her third wardrobe change, Lopez wore a custom orange silk chiffon gown. Tied sharply at the waist, the dress was paired with a handcrafted embroidered cape woven from chiffon, georgette, and wool yarns, dripping in crystals. The gown’s neckline showcased heavy, jewel-like metal hardware.
Her final outfit embraced dark theatricality. Lopez stepped out in a custom black Chantilly lace bodysuit, complete with a matching garter belt, sheer stockings, and a bold gold harness.
The look was accessorized with coordinated Alta Moda bangles pulled from the 2024 Sardegna collection. A sweeping black embroidered lace veil and an intricate black and gold crown finished the dramatic ensemble.
The multi-day Alta Moda celebration catered specifically to Dolce & Gabbana’s ultra-wealthy clientele, featuring nearly 100 distinct looks. Lopez, a longtime friend of the luxury brand, provided a fittingly lavish conclusion to the luxury cultural experience.
