The final bulk purchase of disposable paper towels took place in October 2022. Nearly four years later, seven full rolls from that original 12-pack remain entirely untouched.
The sudden drop in usage had nothing to do with a cleaner kitchen. Spills and messes remained a daily reality.
The endless cycle of buying paper towels every two months finally broke after a simple $26 investment in a 12-pack of reusable “unpaper” towels.

Straight out of the package, they do not absorb liquid as instantly as traditional paper. However, this slower absorption rate actually makes them much easier to reuse.
Instead of constantly tearing off fresh sheets of paper and tossing them down, users can wipe up a spill, wring out the fabric, and keep working. The cotton also becomes increasingly absorbent as it goes through regular wash cycles.
