The Air Fryer’s Major Flaw

Air fryers have dominated kitchen countertops for years, but their core drawback remains unsolved: interior space. They are highly efficient for one or two people but struggle to handle family-sized meals.

This limitation is driving consumers toward convection ovens equipped with Air Fry technology. These hybrid machines combine the rapid circulation of an air fryer with the expansive capacity of a traditional oven.

A powerful hot air circulation system cooks food evenly, delivering a crispy exterior and a juicy interior. They eliminate the need for multiple appliances by allowing users to bake, roast, broil, dehydrate, reheat, and even cook large pizzas in a single unit.

Enter the HTC Smart Oven

The HTC HAF-SO30LBK smart oven was engineered to seamlessly integrate into modern kitchens while solving the capacity issue. It features a massive 30-liter interior and runs on 1800 W of power.

This appliance brings high-end culinary tech to the everyday consumer. It includes an automatic shut-off system that triggers when a program ends, ensuring safety in the kitchen. For easy maintenance, the unit is also equipped with a self-cleaning function.

Energy efficiency is handled by a five-layer door with double glass, trapping heat while the convection system guarantees even temperature distribution.

Consecutive Dual Cooking

One of the most advanced features of the HAF-SO30LBK is its ability to combine two cooking programs consecutively. Users can program a high-temperature sear for the first phase of cooking.

Once the initial phase is complete, the oven automatically drops the heat to a secondary setting for a slow, gentle roast. This hands-free transition ensures meats are browned on the outside while remaining incredibly tender inside.

Precision Control and 18 Modes

A large touchscreen gives home cooks instant access to 18 preset cooking functions. These modes include air fry, potatoes, wings, pizza, meats, cookies, snacks, vegetables, toast, bake, donuts, roast, grill, dehydrate, preheat, defrost, warm, and reheat.

The oven allows precise temperature adjustments ranging from 30 °C to 230 °C. It also features a dual timer capable of handling up to two hours of standard cooking or eight hours for fermentation and heat retention.

For making healthy snacks from fruits or vegetables, the dedicated dehydration program can run for up to 12 hours.

Included Accessories

HTC ships the oven fully equipped to handle any recipe out of the box. The package includes a baking rack, a non-stick tray, a galvanized tray, a specialized pizza pan, an air-frying basket, and a tray handle to prevent burns.

Recipe: Oven-Roasted Meat

Test the oven’s dual-cooking feature with this classic roast recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef or pork loin
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 150 ml beef broth or white wine (optional)

Preparation

  • Step 1: Remove the meat from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature. Mix the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper, then rub the mixture thoroughly over the entire cut of meat.
  • Step 2: Preheat the convection oven to 200 °C. Place the meat on the baking rack and roast for 15 minutes to sear the exterior.
  • Step 3: Reduce the oven temperature to 170 °C. Continue cooking for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the thickness of the cut and your desired level of doneness. Pour the broth or wine into the bottom tray to create a moist environment and build a flavorful sauce.
  • Step 4: Remove the meat from the oven and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a significantly more tender roast.
  • Step 5: Serve immediately alongside roasted potatoes, baked vegetables, or a fresh side salad.
