The “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” global press tour touched down in Los Angeles on Monday, July 27. After seven international stops, the highly anticipated red carpet event brought out Hollywood’s elite to celebrate the franchise’s latest theatrical release.

A Theatrical Red Carpet Arrival
Tom Holland, 30, arrived more than an hour ahead of his co-star and real-life partner. The actor, who recently referred to 29-year-old Zendaya as “my wife,” spent his early time handling press interviews.
At exactly 7:34 p.m., a sprinter van pulled up to the venue. The sliding door opened to reveal Zendaya standing fully posed, treating her arrival like an action movie sequence.
Stylist Law Roach outfitted the actress in a striking black gown from Ashi Studio’s Fall 2026 collection. The plunging neckline featured sculptural details mimicking a spider’s front appendages, sending photographers into a frenzy. She also made sure to display a sparkling diamond ring.
Heavy Hitters and Mystery Roles
The premiere drew a massive crowd ahead of the film’s nationwide release on Friday, July 31. Several high-profile directors and actors arrived to support the cast.
Denis Villeneuve, who directs Zendaya in the upcoming “Dune: Part Three,” tried to slip into the theater completely unnoticed. Meanwhile, “Black Panther” star Michael B. Jordan took the opposite approach, walking the carpet in a fan-made Spider-Man T-shirt and handing out hugs.
Sadie Sink also made an appearance. The “Stranger Things” star joins the new film, though Marvel continues to keep her specific role highly classified.
Bernthal Praises a Longtime Friend
Jon Bernthal returns to the Marvel universe as Frank Castle, better known as the Punisher. He also stars as Menelaus in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming “The Odyssey,” sharing the screen with Holland as Telemachus and Zendaya as the goddess Athena.
Bernthal used his time on the carpet to praise Holland’s work ethic and character.
“I can’t say enough about Tom,” Bernthal said. “I’ve known him since I was 17 when we made audition tapes together. I can’t believe what he’s achieved and how far he’s come. I’m staggered by his achievements, but also happy to report that he is still exactly the same guy — hardworking, kind, loyal.”
Surviving the Tour and Manifesting the Future
Holland offered a straightforward strategy for handling grueling back-to-back global press tours. His primary advice for making it through: “Eat healthy, go to bed early, smile and wave.”
The actor also addressed his well-known habit of speaking future career moves into existence.
“I really believe in manifesting; I think it’s a real thing,” Holland explained. “I’m so lucky in life that it seems like a lot of stuff I say in interviews comes true.”
When pressed on what he plans to manifest next, the star kept his cards close to his chest—delivering bad news for prediction markets like Kalshi.
“I just don’t have the feeling yet,” Holland said. “There are things that I would love to do in my career. But until I have the feeling, I’ll keep those to myself.”
