Spain’s recent FIFA World Cup victory over Argentina prompted a rare family update from Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias.
The former tennis star shared a snapshot of their three eldest children fully decked out in Spanish national team gear following the July 19 championship match.

On July 20, Kournikova posted the photo to Instagram featuring twins Lucy and Nicholas, both 8, alongside their 6-year-old sister, Mary. In the image, Nicholas is visibly cheering a goal.
Kournikova, a former Grand Slam doubles champion, captioned the post with a simple row of three red hearts.
Iglesias’ Longstanding Soccer Obsession
The children’s enthusiasm clearly mirrors their father’s intense passion for the sport.
Iglesias has never hidden his devotion to the Spanish national team. In 2010, the singer bluntly told CNN about his shifting priorities during the global tournament.
“The World Cup is the only time my career comes second,” Iglesias stated at the time. “It’s crucial to me.”
Keeping the Youngest Out of the Spotlight
Missing from the celebratory photo was the couple’s newest addition: 7-month-old Romeo.
Kournikova, 45, and Iglesias, 51, welcomed the baby boy in December 2025. They officially revealed his name months later on March 19 with a post reading, “Lucy+Nicolas+Mary+Romeo.”
The couple has kept their infant largely offline, though Iglesias recently shared a backyard video directed by his daughters.
In the clip, the singer lifts Romeo to his feet. As Lucy and Mary shout that the baby is walking, Iglesias mimics Romeo’s voice, declaring, “I have super powers!”
Guarding Their Private Life
These social media posts remain highly unusual for Kournikova and Iglesias. Since they began dating in 2001, the couple has fiercely protected their home life.
Iglesias explained his strict boundaries between public fame and private spaces back in 2014.
“When I go home, back home, I want to make sure that whatever goes on in my house, it’s just for me and my loved ones with me that are right there,” he said. “I need that.”
