A Carefree Start in Paris
Jennifer Lopez is ringing in her next era exactly how she wants to. On Sunday, the pop icon posted a carefree picture of herself completely nude in a marble bathtub.
Enjoying what looked to be a decadent dessert, the singer, 56, beamed for the camera. Her sister Lynda Lopez, 55, smiled brightly from the floor beside the tub.
The Sunday post came just days before the Grammy nominee officially turns 57 on Friday.
The Double Birthday Celebration
The famous siblings are currently vacationing in France. “A double birthday sister trip is always a good idea!!” Jennifer wrote in her weekend caption.
“I love you Lynnie!!” she added. “Happy birthday!!”
The Instagram carousel featured several other intimate moments from their Paris getaway. Photos showed the duo blowing out restaurant candles and sitting side-by-side deep in conversation.
Lynda echoed the enthusiasm on her own Instagram Stories on Sunday. She called the French getaway “the best double birthday sister trip [she] could have dreamed of,” specifically noting the bathtub photoshoot was a “peak” moment.
Silencing the Critics
Lopez has never shied away from bold birthday statements. When she turned 56 last year, she honored the milestone with an over-the-top party in Turkey while actively on tour.
She debuted her track “Birthday” that same night, singing: “Name on top of the cake, it’s my birthday / I’ma make this famous ass shake, it’s my birthday… Every day is my birthday, bitch.”
She remains unapologetic about her image. Six months later, during her January Las Vegas residency, Lopez directly addressed online commenters who demand she dress her age and issued an epic clapback.
“I do laugh at [the comments],” she told the Vegas crowd while wearing a minimal fringe outfit. “Why is she always dressed that way? … Why’s she always naked?”
“If you had this booty, you’d be naked too!” she told the audience, punctuating the statement with a shimmy.
True to her word, the star routinely flaunts her killer physique in bikinis and striking red carpet gowns.
