Relatives were clearing out the home of a recently deceased family member in Juneau on Sunday evening. While searching a locked outbuilding on the property, they stumbled upon the frozen remains.
The Juneau Police Department responded to the property and confirmed the contents of the freezer.
An Unreported Disappearance
Preliminary investigations suggest the remains belong to an adult male who is also part of the family. The timeline of his death remains a complete mystery.
Authorities stated they do not know how long the body had been stored in the freezer. Surprisingly, Juneau police have no record of a missing person report ever being filed for the deceased man.
