The youngest roster in the WNBA is about to face its steepest climb. On Wednesday night, the Washington Mystics host the powerhouse Las Vegas Aces.

Washington enters the contest with a 13-12 record. They recently split a two-game road series against the Golden State Valkyries, keeping their playoff momentum steady.

The Mystics are heavily invested in their youth movement, and the strategy is paying massive dividends.

To secure a win, Washington must rely on its elite defense, which currently ranks third in the league. However, their offense remains a glaring liability.
Ranking second-to-last in offensive rating, the Mystics struggle heavily with shot creation and perimeter accuracy. If the front office cannot execute a trade deadline deal to bring in reliable shooters, these offensive woes will have to be addressed in the offseason.
