Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton is officially a married man. His longtime partner, Jade Jones, took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce their legal union.
The couple exchanged vows at an Indianapolis courthouse with close family and friends serving as witnesses. “It’s (courthouse) official,” Jones wrote to caption her announcement.
From the Sidelines to the Altar
For the legal ceremony, the bride wore a classic white dress and matching heels, carrying a bouquet of white flowers. Haliburton kept it sleek in an all-black ensemble, finishing his look with a pair of black Puma Suede Classic sneakers.
The courthouse milestone arrives just days before the couple’s engagement anniversary. Haliburton proposed to Jones on July 28 of last year inside Hilton Coliseum, a venue deeply tied to their shared history.
The two originally met as classmates at Iowa State. Between 2018 and 2020, Haliburton averaged 10.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists for the Cyclones. Jones cheered him on from the sidelines as a member of the university’s cheerleading squad before he was selected 12th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft.
After dating for seven years, the couple is scheduled to host their formal wedding ceremony on August 1.

A Packed Summer Amid Injury Rehab
The marriage highlights a busy off-season for the NBA All-Star. Haliburton is currently ruled out for the 2025-26 season as he rehabs a torn Achilles sustained during Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
Despite the severe injury, he has maintained a highly visible presence this summer. Haliburton and Jones recently attended Michael Rubin’s high-profile all-white party and the World Cup final.
Haliburton also made a surprise WWE appearance at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Before that, he stopped by Fanatics Fest in New York, joining LeBron James as a special guest for a live taping of the “Mind the Game” podcast.
With the legal paperwork handled, the couple now has just over a week to prepare for their formal trip down the aisle.
