A Birthday Feast in Italy
Benny Blanco is giving fans a front-row seat to Selena Gomez’s birthday festivities. On Wednesday, July 22, the producer shared a TikTok video documenting the couple’s scenic Italian getaway.

The 38-year-old producer of Ermoso captured an intimate Italian cooking class booked specifically for Gomez’s 34th birthday.
“Let’s throw an Italian birthday feast for my wife,” Blanco declared from the passenger seat of a car before the camera transitioned to the kitchen.
Gomez immediately got to work. She was filmed cracking eggs into flour and kneading fresh pasta dough before feeding it into a machine with her husband cheering her on.

“See?” Blanco asked as he helped shape the fresh spaghetti.
An enthusiastic “Ooo!” from Gomez echoed off-camera as the pasta hit the boiling water. The Only Murders in the Building actress later beamed at the camera after taking her first bite.
Creating the Perfect Menu
The couple didn’t stop at pasta. Blanco filmed himself grating lemon zest and fresh herbs into soft cheese to create a filling for Fiori di zucca—traditional stuffed zucchini flowers.
After clinking glasses and a quick cheese taste test by Gomez, the video showed marinara sauce bubbling in a pan. Gomez then layered thin slices of eggplant to craft a homemade eggplant parmesan.
“Goodnight,” Blanco joked as he slid the heavy dish into the oven to bake.
When the meal was finished, Blanco proudly displayed the results. “My baby makes the best eggplant parmesan,” he said. “Alright, gotta take some and put it on a slice of bread.”
After taking a bite, Blanco gave a firm nod of approval. “This is the best thing I’ve had in Italy, and you made it,” he told a smiling Gomez.
Beyond the kitchen, Blanco captured the sweeping local landscapes. He panned across traditional Italian villas surrounded by lush greenery and fountains, sarcastically joking about the “shitty view.”
The TikTok video ended with a quiet, affectionate moment. As Gomez rested after their extensive cooking session, Blanco whispered, “Happy birthday, baby, I love you.”
Dining Out in Bologna
The birthday trip also included a special dinner out. On Tuesday, July 21, the couple dined at Trattoria della Santa in Bologna.
Restaurant owner Riccardo Lelli spoke exclusively about their visit, with waitress Saria Ahmed translating. Lelli revealed that while Blanco’s team booked a private table days in advance, the couple opted for a more authentic experience.
They chose to sit outside under the historic Portici di Bologna arches that border the city center, right where the restaurant’s patio tables are located.
“They were just amazing, very sweet and kind-hearted people,” Lelli said. “They showered us with compliments for the food, for the service, and were just wonderful customers.”
The couple officially tied the knot on September 27, 2025, nearly two years after taking their relationship public.
