Beyoncé is rewriting the rules of stadium style. The 44-year-old superstar arrived at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in New Jersey alongside her husband, Jay-Z, making an undeniable case for the polarizing capri trend.
The singer wore a sheer white lace capri jumpsuit by LaQuan Smith, layered beneath an off-white belted trench coat. She grounded the striking silhouette with white patent leather ankle-strap pumps by Amina Muaddi.
To finish the ensemble, Beyoncé opted for Prada sunglasses, oversized gold earrings, and a compact white handbag. The couple watched from the stands on Sunday, July 19th, as Spain secured a historic 1-0 victory over Argentina in extra time.
A Family Affair at Yankee Stadium
The World Cup outing followed a high-profile stadium run for the couple in New York. During Jay-Z’s recent three-night residency at Yankee Stadium, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance to perform the hook of his 1996 hit Can’t Knock the Hustle.
She stepped in for the track’s original vocalist, Mary J. Blige, who was unavailable due to her own ongoing residency in Las Vegas.
Blue Ivy Takes the Stage
The Yankee Stadium shows also featured a milestone moment for the couple’s 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. She joined her father on stage to play piano during a performance of his 1996 track Feelin’ It.
When People asked Jay-Z—who shares Blue Ivy and nine-year-old twins Sir and Rumi with Beyoncé—if performing with his eldest daughter was the highlight of the residency, he didn’t hesitate. “You said it. That ain’t even a question,” he replied.
Blue Ivy is already building a formidable entertainment resume. She holds a Grammy Award and two Guinness World Records, and previously toured as a backup dancer during Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour last year.
Billionaire Status and Drive
Beyoncé’s recent stadium appearances coincide with her official induction into the billionaire club. Forbes recently added her to their rich list, joining Jay-Z in the prestigious financial bracket.
However, her father, Mathew Knowles, insists financial milestones have never driven her career. Speaking to the New York Post’s PageSix, Knowles praised his daughter’s relentless work ethic.
“She’s not motivated [by] money… I’ve never heard Beyoncé ever talk about money,” Knowles said. “It’s always been: ‘How can I make my fans happy? How can I be the best at what I’m doing?’ Her money came with the success, but that has never been a goal of hers.”
Knowles added that while he congratulated her on the Forbes ranking, wealth isn’t what defines her legacy. “That’s just not Beyoncé. That’s not who she is,” he said. “She’s motivated by being the very best. She’s motivated by making her fans happy and giving back to the community as well.”
