Manufactured by the premier French aerospace company Dassault, the Falcon 900 has defined luxury travel since the early 1980s. More than 500 units have been sold over the decades, with the current Falcon 900LX model taking flight in 2008.
Capable of hauling up to 21 passengers across a 5,180-mile range, the aircraft is a rare asset in Hollywood and corporate America. Today, only three notable public figures maintain a Falcon 900 in their personal fleet.
Michael Bloomberg
The billionaire businessman and three-term New York City Mayor does not just own a Falcon 900. He owns three of them.
Bloomberg’s constant travel demands place him among the highest private jet emitters in the world. During a March 2020 campaign stop in Austin, Texas, he addressed his aviation habits in an interview with The Musings of the Big Red Car.
“Sure, I own three Dassault Falcons 900s, very sweet planes,” Bloomberg stated. “That’s a $45,000,000 plane plus upgrades. Costs almost $3,000,000 a year each to own. Very nice plane.”
His high-end fleet includes a 2008 Dassault Falcon 900EX (N5MV), a 2010 900EX (N47EG), and a 2014 900EX (N8AG). Though licensed to pilot fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, Bloomberg leaves the flying to his crew these days. His broader aviation portfolio also features a Beechcraft King Air B300, a Pilatus PC-24, and a Cessna 182 Skylane.

Chesney customized the jet with his signature logo—a palm tree with a guitar resting against the trunk—emblazoned proudly on the tail. Inside, his Instagram shows the same tropical emblem stitched into custom leather seating.
Operating out of Nashville, Chesney uses the tri-jet for both business and family, famously taking his grandmother on her first-ever plane ride in the aircraft. During his 2023 “I Wanna Go Back” tour, the jet ferried his team and opening act Kelsea Ballerini across the country.
Tommy Hilfiger
Fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger secured his billionaire status after selling his namesake brand for $1.6 billion in 2006. He quickly put that capital to work, acquiring a 2006 Dassault Falcon 900EX.
Registered as N818TH, the jet is a flying billboard for his classic American aesthetic. The white fuselage features sharp red and blue accents, while the iconic Tommy Hilfiger logo is painted directly onto the top-mounted Honeywell TFE731-60-1C turbofan engine.
The aircraft operates primarily out of West Palm Beach, Florida. Aviation trackers regularly spot Hilfiger’s jet shuttling between New York, Los Angeles, London, Saint-Tropez, and Colorado during ski season.
While Hilfiger never detailed the plane’s interior in his 2016 memoir, American Dreamer: My Life in Fashion & Business, his tastes are well documented. His 203-foot superyacht, Flag, is famously outfitted like a multimillion-dollar mansion and heavily branded with his logo. His Falcon 900EX undoubtedly matches that same uncompromising standard.
